How I discovered/acquired this book: I found Legend at the library one fateful day and have I have never been the same since. 😉


Notes and opinions: The plot of this book is absolutely incredible! It twists and turns throughout the stunning events of the book, keeping you on your seat to the very last line. It definitely kept me guessing what was to happen next. The setting remains in the dark shadow of the Republic but it shifts it’s way to the….well, read and find out 😉 I love how you get both Day and June’s perspective alternating between chapters. You get every detail of what’s happening and the perspective change and the difference of opinions is definitely intriguing.  This book was….how do I say it? AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so geeked for Champion to come out 😀

What’s it about? (overview):

In the sequel to Legend Day and June go to the Patriots for help. Day needs surgery and needs his brother Eden and June is there to support him. They join on one condition from the patriots. They have a mission for them to do, only to be revealed after they pledge their allegiance. Once done it’s revealed, they are to assassinate the new Elector. As they go along with everything, June getting cozy with the elector to trick him she starts seeing flaws with everything. Are the patriots doing the right thing? Is it really going to end the republic and have the united states come whole? Is the new elector deserving of death? June and Day have a fatal decision to make. Save the elector and have the patriots against them leading to an unknown result. Or go along with it knowing deep down something’s terribly wrong.
